It was Hot – Hot – Hot over the past weekend and even though we woke up early and were out of the house by 6:40 a.m, our only goal was to complete the mileage.
This type of weather with extreme heat and mugginess is what we like to call “the soup” making it almost impossible for us to make our normal time – it was bad enough to walk in the heat never mind run.
High five to everyone who made it through the weekend close to or on track with their training program despite the heat and humidity.

The heat does make it difficult! I seem to get used to it after a while (in Texas) but yeah, I definitely need to run earlier in the day and try to beat some of the heat! Hope you had a great week!

Yes! I’m doing the RnR Las Vegas Marathon 🙂 it’s in November as well. It will be my first marathon! Thank you, good luck to you as well!
