two Greek achievements across the Atlantic at the Chicago Marathon

Two Greek runners outdid themselves in the Chicago Marathon last Sunday, 9th October 2016.


Running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes, and also known as one of the most prestigious Marathons in the world – runners from all 50 USA States and more than 100 countries, worldwide, raced out to fulfill their dreams!!

Dimitris Mouchakis and Nikos Oikonomidis surpassed themselves and participated in this race, after qualifying.

They both did a fantastic race as everything went exactly as planned.  They managed to accomplish their goals – Dimitris finished with an impressive 3.06.23 (being the first Greek runner to do so) and Nicholas third at 3.25.11!
