The first signs of autumn are making us feel nostagalic but not depressed!!!  The first rays of grey and chill have made our summer holidays seem like ……….. last year!!!!

Serifos – Kalo Ambeli

We were very spoilt this summer and had a full agenda ………….. Crete and Serifos……….. and mainland Greece…… Karystos and Xorefto.

Personally it was my first working holiday – 2 carefree months in Crete

cannot complain as it didn’t really feel like I was working!!!  Alot of running along the coast, biking in the beautiful surrounding villages and trekking the smaller hillsides visiting caves and seeing alot of billygoats!!!

Serifos, on the otherhand was a great family destination whereby we spent 10 full days of quality time together, both Elena and myself.   We weren’t supposed to run as we were on a strict relaxing break however we couldn’t resist it as the great sunrises made us want to wake up to savor the view so why not run a little!!

Karystos and Xorefto for us were a short preview to our holidays – Karystos is a great destination, with suburb, clear waters just an hour from our home and Xorefto is much further away however too has golden sands, clear deep waters…… an almost island like effect.
