Rania Rebouli and Sofia Riga qualify for Rio 2016
finishing 28th and 29th place,respectively, in the Berlin Marathon
Rebouli did 2.39.52 and Riga 2.39.53
The occasional planned layoff will give our muscles time to fully recharge for our next big effort; however as it only takes a few days to get out of shape, we are planning to keep on running (“some”) during our summer hols!!!!! Our bodies may have some nicks and dents occurred during the previous months of hard training, so this toning down …. not stopping …………will do us good. Lots of sun, relaxation, quality time with our families and just soaking in the sea !!! Soooo blessed to be living in Greece.
Thanks to modern sports science techniques, we can now have proof as to our running ability, and exact info as to how our body is adapting to our training!!
The essentials required in following this mania are few and can be narrowed down to the following.
All you need is:
3 cups frozen strawberries
3 frozen bananas
Beat well all together
Pour into a container and freeze for 2 hours
Great – cool – afternoon snack!!!!!
