Over one milion Greeks rallied in the streets of Athens to protest against the government’s proposal over the name Macedonia.  This dispute has lasted decades, governments have changed however still not resolved.

Reason being that the Greeks object to another country calling itself Macedonia, saying it implies a territorial claim on Greece’s northern Macedonia region.

The country is officially known as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) however as all well-read Historians can verify, FYROM are Slavs and not Macedonians ………………”Macedonia was, is and will forever be Greek,”
